Meet Our Meet Directors
Here in USA Powerlifting Georgia we pride ourselves on offering our lifters many meet opportunities throughout the year. We have a well trained staff of meet directors ready to serve your needs!
While we strive as a state to be consistent in the essentials of a good meet, each meet director brings their own flare to their particular meets. All meets are not the same, but the essentials are the same across the board.
What are the essentials? Lifters come first! We think about the lifters experience on the platform so they have a fantastic meet experience and are given the best opportunity possible to hit PR's!
#1 - Our meets start on time! No waiting around wondering if its a late start meet etc.
#2 - Our meet directors communicate details of the meet with the lifters so they know what to expect on meet day. If you sign up for a Georgia meet, you can expect to hear from the meet director prior to meet day. Things like - meet day schedule, checkin/weighin information, venue specifics, etc.
#3 - If a meet is over 42 lifters (6 hours), we break the day down to two sessions. No 12 hour meet days.
